These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vontari (the "Service"), operated by Smart Technology Investments LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vontari, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with them.

2. Description of Service

Vontari uses BEA Regional Price Parities, BLS CPI data, Census ACS statistics, IRS SOI migration data, HUD Fair Market Rents, and other federal data sources to compute relocation cost-of-living comparisons. The Service provides estimated cost projections, tax burden modeling, housing cost differentials, and Monte Carlo simulations.

3. Not Financial or Tax Advice

Vontari is not a licensed financial advisor, CPA, or tax professional. The cost comparisons and tax estimates provided are based on publicly available data and statistical models. They do not constitute recommendations to relocate or binding tax guidance.

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Our estimates are derived from federal datasets (BEA, BLS, Census, IRS, HUD, FHFA) that are updated on their own schedules. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data. Cost estimates are probabilistic, not guarantees.

5. Credits and Billing

Vontari uses a per-report credit system. Credits are purchased as one-time payments via Stripe. Single reports cost $12, report packs provide 5 reports for $29, and API credit packs are available for developers. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law.

6. API Access

API subscribers receive access subject to rate limits specified in the documentation. API credentials are non-transferable. We reserve the right to suspend access for abuse.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SMART TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
